DAINI GIVES UNIFORMS, EXERCISE BOOKS, TO PUPILS, AS THE COUNCIL HOLDS ITS FIRST STAKEHOLDERS MEETING IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu. Let's all be security conscious, Oba Kasali urged the residents.

Thursday, 12th of October, 2017, was no doubt a memorable day in the history of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA when the Chairman, Comrade Olusesan Daini and the entire management staff of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA held the first Stakeholders meeting/Interactive Forum.

The maiden edition which kicked off with an opening prayer by Chief Imam general of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Sheik Dhikirulahi Andu, followed by the welcome address by the Head of Administration, Mrs. Usman Folashade who welcomed everyone to the first meeting of stakeholders.

The Goodwill message and 2018 budget red by H.O.D Budget, Planning and Statistics, Mr. Oladeji Tajudeen where he urged for the people's support and timely payment of dues.

The Chairman, Comrade Olusesan Daini after paying homage and welcoming all says the event is geared towards the development of the community and addressing the challenges facing the people's opinion and priorities.

He introduced the newly rebranded Revenue Unit and personnel, Electronic Billing and Payment system, aimed at revenue protection and accountability. He also spoke on the security of lives and properties, environmental sanitation, street trading and promised a new and befitting market place.

He announced the launching of Road Safety Club in all 12 primary schools in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, plans to train and support farmers, to equip all 4 Health Centres.

He says the aim of the gathering is not to applaud the achievements of the administration but to get direct feedback from people and achieve an all-inclusive governance.
On a parting note, Daini enjoined the people to be law abiding, security conscious, pay their dues and take proper care of their environment.

There was a drama interlude to entertain the guests, this was followed by the interactive session where Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Chief Aderenle Olowu, Arewa community representative, Ndigbo representative, C.D.C Chairman,  C.D.A representative, Alh. Isa Gbadamosi, Mr. Hameed Sholanke, and many others commended the administration and spoke on areas where attention is needed to which the Chief Host, Olusesan Daini, responded to accordingly.

In the course of the event, the chairman and H.O.A, Mrs Usman Folashade were decorated by the Federal Road Safety Commission as full supporters of the Corps along with 25 pupils from different primary schools in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA in the launching of the Road Safety Club in their schools.

HRM Oba Richard Ogunsanya, the Olubese of Ibeseland in his comment applauded the Chairman's effort and urged people to support the administration wholely to aid development in the LCDA.

HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, in his eloquent speech also stressed the importance of the Chairman's meeting with the traditional heads and enjoined the people to be security conscious and pay their levies.

Exercise books and uniforms were presented to pupils from all primary schools in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and set of drums were given to Methodist Primary School Igbogbo.
