BABAJIMI BENSON TO CELEBRATE ONE YEAR OF UNINTERRUPTED MONTHLY DISTRIBUTION OF APO AANU UNDER THE iCARE FOODBANK INITIATIVE. | Shakiru Seidu.

iCare FoodBank is an initiative of iCare Foundation of Hon. Babajimi Benson,  a nonprofit charitable organization that buys food and grocery products and redistributes the items in a bag called ‘APO AANU or ‘MERCY BAG’ to individuals and vulnerable families in need within Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Come October 16, 2017, the Foundation will be celebrating one year (1year) of uninterrupted monthly distribution of the Apo Aanu bag. Over 10,000 people  had been fed through the programme and in continuation of the programme, members of the public are invited to nominate someone within Ikorodu Division that is in dire need, who is either Elderly, Single Parent, Widow or Physically Challenged for the November batch of the Food ration.

In view,  the foundation hereby solicit your sincerity as they trust your judgment on this and nominations will be vetted on the above requirements and other criteria.

Nominations must be submitted on or before 6pm on Wednesday, 11th of October, 2017.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
