A+ DISCIPLES, PARTY LEADERS ENDORSES AMBODE FOR SECOND TERM IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu. Spread the A+ Disciples to other Local Governments, APC Chairmen urges Akinsola.

A socio- political Group, called A+ Disciples, Leaders and other APC faithfuls in Ikorodu Division, today, pledged their unalloyed support for the re- election of the Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, saying re-electing him into office will further boost economic prosperity of the State.

The decision came to open at the General Assembly meeting held at A+ Disciples' Office in Igbogbo, on Saturday, 28th of October, 2017.

The Group revealed their conviction, having watched carefully the policies and programmes of the State government for the past two and half years in areas such as security, education, road construction and other infrastructural developments, that Governor Ambode, if given a second term in office would be able to consolidate on his developmental strides.

The Chairman of the Group, Prince Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa in his welcome address said it is essential to support the Governor for Second Term to ensure continuity.

Immediately after this, Dr. Olakunle Goodluk read a brief biography of the governor and some of his achievements were cited.

In his eloquent speech of the Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Titilayo Adegboyega, who doubled as a member of A+ Disciples and also represented the Council Chairman, Comrade Olusesan Daini, who was unavoidably absent. Mr Titilola applauded the good work of Gov.Ambode and the unimaginable development that Hon Adebimpe Akinsola has brought to Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. He cited the approval of a Mediation Centre in Igbogbo, the Scodron 6, and Igbogbo/Bola Tinubu/Igbe road which has brought the LCDA to a limelight. He therefore urged people to support and keep praying for the government of Gov. Ambode.

The Chairman of all Chairmen in Lagos East Senatorial District, Evang. Folorunsho Falohun, commended the leadership quality and uncommon ideology of Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, says "Akinwunmi Ambode is a blessing to Lagos State. The APC Chairmen in all Local Councils of Lagos East Senatorial District had endorsed the second term of Ambode, Evang Falohun revealed.

He further warned those saying the Chairmen were begging to join A+ Disciples to stop misleading people. A+ Disciples belongs to us, why should we be begging? Falohun asked. He therefore urged Hon Adebimpe Akinsola to extend A+ Disciples to other local government in no time.

Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, APC Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, shared the same thought with Evang Falohun and assured the second term of Ambode based on his unprecedented performance.

The Convener of the Group, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, when addressing the hundreds of people gathered, stated that the General Assembly Meeting of A+ Disciples is long overdue and its meant to bring everyone together and also to enlighten them on Ambode's achievements.

"This is one Governor that so passionate about the development of the State. All residents in Lagos State are therefore advised to support Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration to get more dividends of democracy.

“Due to his sterling qualities, monumental development strides and milestone achievements as governor of Lagos State till date, we have no other candidate than Akinwunmi Ambode,” Hon Akinsola said.

Before the closing prayer by Alhaji Omotayo Daisi, the NUT Chairman, Comrade Fakolade performed the vote of thanks and urged the leaders of Ikorodu division to manage the potentials of Ikorodu division.
