ONE YOUTH, ONE SKILL, AS COUNCILLOR AROWOLO EMPOWERS OVER 115 YOUTHS IN IBESHE WARD, IGBOGBO. | Shakiru Seidu. Launches Arowolo Grassroot Foundation (AGF).

It was a day of history in Ward C4, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, where Councillor Mathew Arowolo empowered over 115 youths on Sunday, 29th of October, 2017, at Baale Molatori's Palace, Owode-Ibeshe.

Immediately after the opening prayer, Chairman of the occasion, Prince Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa applauded Councillor Mathew Arowolo for his untiring efforts in community development and urged the people of Ward C4 to have faith in God as Arowolo did when contesting.

The Woman Leader of the Ward, Mrs. Obayomi in her comment urged women to  involve in politics and cautioned not to take politics as  a means of livelihood but as a way of impacting the community and nation as a whole. She enjoined people not to be over ambitious when comes to positions.

The erudite Councillor, Arowolo Matthew in his eloquent speech thanked his campaign team for their support before, during and after election.

There would be orientation program for the youths of Ibeshe and it's aimed at empowering over 350 people in my one year in office, Arowolo explained.

However, he said empowerment program is not the only thing he's working on as Ajose road has been awarded by the State government and work will commence very soon. In collaboration with the joint CDAs of Ibeshe land, we will continue to mount pressure on government to repair Idioro-Ilemere road, he assured.

He further revealed the 3 new Transformers had been facilitated to Ibeshe land.

The articulate legislator further sounded a note of warning to the residents to Light Up their houses and surroundings, in order to cub security challenges.

He finally appreciated the efforts of the Joint CDAs of Ibeshe under the leadership of Pastor Fred Olanipekun in curbing Badoo insurgency.

The vote of thanks was made by Pastor Fred Olanipekun who thanked God for the choice of Arowolo in Ibeshe community.
