LOCKDOWN ORDER: HON. NURUDEEN SHOLAJA-SAKA TAKES RELIEF PACKAGE TO GRASSROOTS. ...asks people of Ikorodu Constituency II to remain calm and pay close attention to instructions from State Government.

Sucour has come for residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku, Ijede and Imota LCDAs, as lawmaker representing Ikorodu  Constituency II, Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka distributed food items to them to cushion the effect of the lockdown in the state. 

The lawmakers said the donation of relief materials was to support the State food bank as a way of cushioning the effect of the lockdown on residents.

Speaking with MegaXpression Community News, Sholaja-Saka said it was important to assist many vulnerable residents who can barely feed from hand to mouth especially at this critical period when the entire state is locked down to curtail the spread of COVID-19. He pleaded with the people of Ikorodu Constituency II to bear with the government over its decision of locking down the state, saying it was in the overall interest of the state. 

The lawmaker promised to continue alleviating the suffering of his constituents through quality representation and provision of relief materials from time to time. He equally reminded residents to imbibe personal hygiene and remain indoors during the periods of the lockdown, saying its remained the best way to stop the spread of the pandemic. 

Sholaja-Saka urged people to remain calm and pay close attention to instructions and announcements from the state government during the periods of the lockdown. 

He emphasized the need for the residents to practice social distancing and avoid large gatherings to stop the spread of the pandemic.

The distribution of the food were Coordinated by his Bibire Group Coordinators, Mr Kunle Odumade, Igbogbo/Bayeku, Ijede and Imota LCDAs, with accolades and prayers from the beneficiaries.

    There are people who are more vulnerable in my area igbooluwo estate l know a lady who's physically challenged and no stimulus relief given to her she stays in 8b fatai olukoga street Igbo oluwo estate ikorodu nearest bus stop is haruna bustop behind conoil filling station I will appreciate your kind gesture in anticipation
