Omo'ba (Alhaji) Muftau Babatunde Lawal, in the middle, with family members, during his 80th Birthday Anniversary.
It was a memorable day on Saturday, April 9, 2022, as the children, family, loved ones, business associates and Jamat of Oga-Oloye Central Mosque, gathered to celebrate the faithfulness of Allah in the life of Omo'ba (Alhaji) Muftau Babatunde Lawal and it was done in a unique way.

Activities started with a special prayer and thanksgiving session by Jamat Oga-Oloye Central Mosque Igbogbo. Other activities followed after then. It was a unique event with a touch of class. There was more than enough to takeaway and the event was top-notch.
Leading the encomium in the early morning was Alhaja Morufat Omobolanle Lawal, the first born of Alhaji Muftau Lawal, who was in London, felicitated with her Dad for attaining the age of 80, thanking him for the great role he has been playing in her life and that of her siblings.
Also, Alhaji Lawal's elder sister, Madam Jumoke Showemimo, JP. Nee Lawal., congratulated Alhaji Muftau Lawal for God's grace in his life, enjoining him to continue in the right path of God.
Mainwhile, Alhaja Sherifat Sodiq, nee Lawal and Alhaja Sherifat Orepekan, nee Lawal, also spoke glowingly of their brother, Alhaji Muftau Lawal, adding that he had been a unifying factor among the family.
Mr Saheed Shonibare, Alhaji Mojud Okeowo, Omo'ba Rasak Lawal, Alhaji Abubakri Hasibunalla and Chief Oyesanya, the Bamisegun of Igbogbo, described the celebrant as a man full of passion and keen for the well being of his family, urging him to increase his relationship with Almighty Allah.
Omo'ba (Alhaji) Muftau Babatunde Lawal, was born on April 9, 1942, to the family of Omo'ba Raheem Oladipupo Lawal, of Rademo Ruling House, Petu branch in Ikorodu, while her Mother, Mrs Funmilayo Soomo, of Ogashikin family, in Igbogbo, Lagos.
Alhaji Muftau Lawal started his primary Education at Eleja Primary School Igbogbo, and later left for Ibadan in 1949 to proceed his primary education. After a brief stayed with Alhaji Moses Oduniyi who took him to Ibadan, the young Alhaji Muftau Lawal, equally learned how to trade before he finally came back to Ikorodu, where he completed his primary education in 1958, at Methodist Primary School Ikorodu, Lagos.
After that humble beginning, Alhaji Muftau Lawal proceeded to National High School Ebute Meta, Lagos, and he passed out in 1962. He thereafter enrolled for training at Clearing and Forwarding Agency, under late Mr Adeniji from Igbogbo.
After graduated as professional, a disciplined Alhaji Muftau Lawal established his own Business Enterprise, called 'Lawal Clearing and Shipping Agency Limited', which it was a licensed Agency with good reputation for good 45 years.
After Alhaji Muftau Lawal retired from Clearing and Forwarding without any stained record, he decided to establish Goldline private School, situated in Igbogbo, to support the up coming children in having better future for themselves, Igbogbo and its environs. He received little tuition fees from the parents, and the School is still functioning till date.
Alhaji Muftau Lawal is currently the President of Ikorodu Harmony Brothers, and he's blessed with lovely children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
