ASSEMBLY 2023: SHOLAJA MEETS DAINI'S ISOKAN GROUP IN IGBOGBO, SAYS HIS RE-ELECTION BID IS BEYOND PERSONAL INTEREST. | Shakiru Seidu. ...As Group gives rousing reception, passes vote of confidence on his quality representation.

Hon. Nurudeen Saka-Sholaja, addressing the APC Caucus of Isokan Group.

Lagos State House of Assembly Member, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Nurudeen Saka-Solaja is not leaving any stone unturned in his bid to clinching the ruling party’s ticket, the All Progress Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Constituency II by widening his political chances and frontiers, consulting, soliciting backings of APC Caucuses across Ikorodu Constituency 2 ahead of APC’s primary election slated for the 2nd quarter of this year.

This was evident on Wednesday 13th of April 2022, when one of the leading Aspirants in Ikorodu Constituency II, NS Solaja took his aggressive  intra party campaign train to Isokan APC Caucus, the political home-ground of Builder Olusesan Daini, The Council Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA who had in the past few weeks proved to be a staunched front-runner for zoning arrangement.

In what many would called bold consultation, which was warmly greeted with rousing reception by members and leadership of the group who unanimously passed vote of confidence on his re-election bid for another in office.

Appraising his capacity and delivery in his welcome address, one of the group’s Apex leaders, Hon. Adewale Bolowotan, the recently appointed Supervisor for  Civic Engagement and Strategy gave the incumbent Hon. Nurudeen Saka Solaja, a passed mark.

“NS has done wonderfully well, If there’s any honourable with good human relations, NS is unrivaled and his performance’s signatures are everywhere that none of the three (3) Local Governments (Igbogbo, Ijede, & Imota) in Ikorodu constituency 2 can deny both in human-capital and infrastructural developments. Continue your good work”Bolowotan said.

Solaja’s visit to the Caucus meeting held at the official residence of Ward c2 Councillor, Hon. Akeem Solawon witnessed a huge turn out, a big platform Solaja used as springboard urging unsuspecting publics to disregard false misrepresentation of fact about achievements.

While observing a minute silence in loving memory of Late Chief Adenrele Olowu, the Chairman, Public Account Committee (PAC), Solaja shared a 7-year scorecards of his administration with indelible impact on education, youth & women empowerment, welfarism, employment, road upgrades, provision of social amenities, state facilitated projects, human-capital and infrastructural development.

The incumbent representing Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly equally reeled out upcoming state-facilitated projects: Full construction of Bola Ahmed Tinubu road 2nd phase linking Elepe, Ijede, igbodu, gberigbe road leading to Rice Mill, Ilemere-ibeshe road, Baiyeku (Obafemi Awolowo). NS disclosed that approval for these roads and other projects have been secured from the State government, saying huge respite is on the way for the good people of Ikorodu Constituency 2.

He therefore, enjoined the good people of Ikorodu Constituency II to support him as his return will consolidate on the gains of his last 7years in office and accrue new ones that will foster unprecedented development and progress for Ikorodu constituency 2. NS explained.
