The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/ Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, on Friday swore-in Supervising Councillors and Special Adviser, after being cleared and confirmed by the local government legislative Arm, MegaXpression Media was there.

The Cabinet Members sworn-in by the Council Chairman are: Vice Chairman Nureni Okedina-Maja, Education and Library Services, Hon. Wahid A. Yusuf, Works, Hon. Adewale Bolowotan, Civic Engagement and Strategy, Comrade Lateef Odusanya, Planning, Budget and Statistics/ Information Communication Technology, Hon. Wasiu Olowu, Tourism and Special Duties, Mrs  Mariam Obayomi, Women Affairs and  Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development, Hon. Dauda Oshinlaja, Environment and Waste Management, Hon. Yinka Ogunlaja, Special Adviser on Primary Healthcare, Hon. Micheal Babatunde Ayeni, Agric, Youth and Sports, and Barr. Ade Ayeni (SLG), Peace and Security Affairs.

Daini, while addressing the newly sworn-in Supervisory Councillors and Special Adviser, said they were among the many qualified persons in Igbogbo /Bayeku LCDA, and were selected to represent the interest of the people.

He charged the ten of them to be dedicated and committed to their assignments, adding that their nomination, confirmation and swearing-in is a call to duty and public trust, and that they must discharge their duties according to the oath subscribed too.

The Chairman further enjoined them to be initiative and proactive in their thoughts, in what they could offer to bring development to the LCDA, not only what they can gain from government.

Daini, while congratulating them, also urged them to be fair and just to all manners of people, and should endeavor and not fail to bring their talents and experience to bear on the overall development of the local government area and her people.

In attendance were the APC LGA Chairman; Hon.Taiwo Mathew Orenuga; APC Ward C1 Chairman, Mr Kunle Shoberu and his counterpart from Ward C5, Hon. Saheed Ogunnowo, APC Ward C1 Youth Leader; Alhaji Sheu Adelakun; CDC Chairman, Pastor Adelakun E. A and Iyaloja of Igbogbo, Chief (Mrs.) Recheal Obayomi.

Others are the Council Manager, Ms Mojisola Ogabi. Council Engineer, Eng. Orelesi; Council HR, Mr. Afolabi Babatunde Adeolu; Area Officer, Mr. Kayode Kazeem Olawole; and Revenue Chairman, Mr. Jelili Ogunmuyiwa;
