LGEA IKORODU APPLAUDS STAFF, GIVES LETTER OF PERFORMANCE TO STAFF OF SCHOOLS AND LGEA. | Shakiru Seidu. "Be proactive and give total dedication to duties", Hon Taiwo Oduloye appeals to Staff.

The Education Secretary of Local Government Education Authority, lkorodu, Hon Austen Taiwo Oduloye, was on Friday, March 29, 2019, distributed letters of performance to Staff of various Schools in Ikorodu Division, in celebration of 'Letter Day' in Lagos State. Letters Day, a day set aside by the Lagos State government as a latest and modern way of evaluating the Staff performances. On this memorable day, two different letters were given for performances by the staff. The first is a green letter which symbolizes excellent performance, while the other which was a red letter is for a lower or below average performance. This serves as a wake-up call to all staff to improve on their present performance and show more dedication. IKORODU WEST GRADUATES 305 PARTICIPANTS FROM ITS 4-WEEK INTENSIVE TRAINING ON SKILL ACQUISITION | Shakiru Seidu. "The needs to empower women of Ikorodu West is sacrosanct," Supervisor for WAPA, Jessica Enitan-Oba insists.

It was a new vista of life for 305 persons from Ikorodu West LCDA of Lagos State, seeking to be economically self-reliant. The 305 beneficiaries successfully completed the skills acquisition training of the Office of the Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Jessica Enitan-Oba, in alliance with Necessary Measures Against Poverty And Perversity (NEMPAP), while powered by the Council Chief, Princess Olajumoke Jumbo-Olamehin. The participants were selected from the five Wards in Ikorodu West LCDA, and were trained in Make-up, Fashion design, Catering, Hair dressing, Shoe and bags making, Photography and Graphics/Printing in three different youth centres within the Council Area to ensure participants have easy access to the training centre. Civil Service Model College Igbogbo has emerged winner of the third edition of the Waves Magazine Inter School Quiz Competition involving 10 secondary schools students drawn from various communities in Ikorodu Division. The results of each category were however more democratic, signifying the general brilliance of each participating school. At the end of the contest, which was split into different categories – English, Mathematics and General Knowledge, Civil Service Model College Igbogbo clinched the first place with 20 points in the three subjects to emerge as winner with the prize money of N50,000.
