SOUTHWEST LAWMAKERS HOLD 2019 INAUGURAL MEETING IN LAGOS, BRAINSTORM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEGISLATIVE REFORMS AGENDA. It's to enhance regional integration, SLRIC Chairman, Hon SOB Agunbiade reveals.

Members of House of Assemblies drawn from the six States in the South-West region on Friday, November 29, 2019, converged in Ikeja, the Lagos State Capital to have its inaugural meeting of the Southwest Legislative Reform Implementation Committee, (SLRIC). The inaugural meeting which took place at R & A City Hotel Ikeja, had representatives from Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos States. Speaking at the meeting, the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman, Southwest Legislative Reform Implementation Committee, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, said the inaugural meeting is to brainstorm on the development of Legislative Reform Agenda for Southwest with a view to harnessing legislative practices in the Zone. "Today, is the first meeting of SLRIC holding in Y2019/2020 and the aim is to ensure there is legislative act in southwest," he said.  Agunbiade enjoined the committee to build a solid foundation for legislature in the region, to achieve future action

COUNCIL OF REGISTERED BUILDERS OF NIGERIA HOLDS ITS 18TH INDUCTION OF NEW MEMBERS IN ABUJA, INDUCTS OLUSESAN DAINI, OTHERS AS CERTIFIED BUILDER.

It was another historic moment for the vibrant Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini, on Thursday, November 28, 2019, in Abuja, when the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) inducted him as member, in commemoration of their 18th Induction of New Builders. The well attended induction ceremony held in the Nation’s capital, Abuja, had newly inducted builders from various states of Nigeria as they throng the Chida Hotels & Events Cenetre at Jabi District in Abuja, with their family, friends and associates. CORBON was said to come in existence through the premulgation of Builders Registration ETC Decree 45 of 1989, now ACT CAP B.13 of the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria in 2004. The Nigerian Army, 81 Division Ex Crocodile Smile IV was on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, gave succour to the Students of Odogunyan Junior Grammar School, Ikorodu, as they doled out over 1000 free Exercise Books.  The Commanding Officer, 174 Battalion, Odogunyan, Col. A.H Gwani, led the gesture in company of his  high grade Officers and other security personnel were also in attendance , which is aimed at providing comfort for the academic enhancement of the students and teachers of  the School.
