IGBOGBO MONARCH BREAKS JINX OF 45 YEARS, INSTALLS CHIEF BILIAMINU BABATUNDE FASANYA AS BAALE, ORETA COMMUNITY. ...Says Oreta Community must not remain stagnant.

The 45years tussle on Baaleship of Oreta community, which had being worrisome to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali and his Chiefs have been finally put to rest, as the monarch on Monday, July 29, installed Chief Biliaminu Babatunde Salau Fasanya from Adejupe Ruling House as the new Baale of Oreta Community.   The host venue, Adeboruwa Palace,  was full to capacity with massive turn out of families, indigenes, friends, business associates, sons and daughters of Oreta Community, as the monarch and Chiefs performed the necessary rites on the newly installed Baale, Chief Fasanya.   After being installed, the Baale, Chief Fasanya, said: “I see this position as a privilege to add value to Oreta community and that is the reason why my family members, home and abroad were happy to nominate me as worthy to fill the position."   He therefore thanked Igbogbo monarch, members of Adeboruwa-in-Council and Adejupe Ruling House Oreta for considering him fo

LAGOS, UAE MULL PARTNERSHIP ON TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, SECURITY

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has declared his administration’s readiness to partner with the government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the areas of traffic management and security. The Governor disclosed this when he received the Consul-General of the UAE Consulate in Nigeria, Dr Abdulla Al-Mandoos in Alausa at the weekend. Sanwo-Olu noted that UAE, in the last decade, had become a choice destination for Nigerian tourists and businessmen. This revelation, the Governor said, should deepen the existing bilateral agreements between Nigeria and UAE.
