It was a day full of merriments as the one time Councillor of Ward C2 and former Supervisory Councillor for WAPA, in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Iyabo Salisu, fondly called 'Iya Council' on Monday, October 25, celebrated her 55th birthday with family, friends and Associates, at her resident in Agunfoye, Igbogbo, Lagos.

Among those in attendance were the Chairman Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, his Chief of Staff, Mr Adewale Bolowotan, Councillor representing Ward C1, Hon. Hakeem Sholawon, former Media Aide to Chairman Daini, Mr Shakiru Seidu and NYCN Coordinator in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Lateef Odusanya.

Others are Mrs Abosede Olugbade JP, Mrs Arinola Yekinni, Mr Kunle Shoberu, Mr Azeez Banjoko, Mr Niyi Soyebo, Mrs Aregbesola, ASCO Team, amongst others.

Speaking with MegaXpression Media, Hon. Iyabo Salisu returned glory to God on her life, revealing that Almighty Allah has being her Strength. "I thank Allah for the gift of life and for strengthening me up to this moment. Also to all my political leaders in Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, more so, the Council Chairman, Bldr Olusesan Daini, who has given me the opportunity to serve under his administration, I'll forever be grateful to you all," Hon. Salisu stated.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
