Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, and the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, has donated food items (Rice, Noodles, Toiletries, etc) to Divine Heritage Children's Center at Ginti, off Ijede Road, Fiat Missionaries Home at Omotayo Braimo Street, Isawo Road, Agric, Ikorodu and beggars at different points in Ikorodu, in commemoration of his Birthday Anniversary.
Agunbiade, who added another year to his age on October 25, revealed to MegaXpression Media, that he believes those who are fairly blessed by God should try as much to help those who are helpless, explaining that he has decided not to celebrate his birthday any longer, but to commemorate it with the vulnerable and less privileged members in Ikorodu Constituency 1.
"Consequently and further that my Birthday this year falls on a working day, I only arranged that food items should be donated to motherless homes and also distributed to beggars at different points across my Constituency," Agunbiade stated.
The Director at Divine Heritage Children's Center, Ginti, Rev. (Mrs) Ebun. O. Idowu, who received the items with joy, appreciated Hon Agunbiade for his uncommon gesture, in her response to MegaXpression Media. "I pray that the Almighty God will grant Hon. Agunbiade longer life, good health and strength to continue serving the State and Ikorodu that he loves so much," Rev. Idowu prayed.
Also, the Head of Fiat Missionary Home, Agric, Ikorodu, Rev. Sister Becky Sinachi Nzenwa, equally applauded Hon. Agunbiade's magnanimity, saying the Majority Leader has proven to be a sincere representive of Ikorodu Constituency 1.
Comrade Kehinde Okeowo and Hon. Azeez Olosugbo led the team of Onward Movement to gift the donation of food items to motherless homes and beggars in Ikorodu.
