Firefighters of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene of a fire that gutted a Solar Power Station at Elepe Community Junior High School, Igbogbo, in Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA of Lagos State on Sunday.
The fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault was said to have started this morning, MegaXpression Media gathered.
However, the fire was said to have been trying to put out before the arrival of the State firefighters some minutes later, after calls from different quarters. So, the fire did not spread beyond the point of the Solar Power Station.
His Royal Majesty, Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, through MegaXpression Media, thanked the firefighters for their prompt response, urging those within the area to remain calm as everything is under control.
