SECURITY: ADEBORUWA OF IGBOGBO RECEIVES VEHICLE, MOTORBIKES FOR LOCAL JOINT TASK FORCE. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Commends members of IDPILG, says he's convinced this will curtail crime in Ikorodu Division.

Igbogbo Rep. at the IDPILG, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, presenting the car key and motorbikes to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali.

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, was on Tuesday received a brand new car and 5 motorbikes meant for the local joint task force LJTF, of Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, from Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative LTD/ GTE, MegaXpression Media was there.

The Monarch enjoined the Commander, Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA LJTF, Chief Sesan Sotomiwa and other members, to be proactive and vigilant in ensuring better safety of the communities. The King appealed to the leadership to make proper use of the car and motorbikes.

Oba Kasali, thereafter commended Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya SAN, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Engr. Femi Kalejaiye and other members of the IDPILG, for this wonderful initiative and for writing their names on gold in Ikorodu Division. “I am convinced this will go a long way in curtailing crime in our communities,” Adeboruwa added.

The presentation of car key was later done by the representative of Igbogbo at the IDRDG, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, who reiterated that the purpose is to complement the efforts of Nigeria Police and strengthen security within Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and Ikorodu Division at large.

Akinsola charged the officers to be united and remain focused in discharging their duties effectively. "You should ensure the proper safety of the car and motorbikes, the driver/ riders must have valid driver's license, while the car and motorbikes should be packing at Adeboruwa Palace for better safety," Akinsola said.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
