Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade, has reiterated commitment not to relent on his efforts in investing more on the youths of his Constituency, assuring of providing education support for them to take their minds off crimes.
Agunbiade stated this at the Megalite Hall, inside Homat Events Center, in Igbogbo on Monday when he presented free University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME forms to 250 students of his Constituency, in addition to free tutorial lessons for computerbased test examination.
While encouraging the students to take their studies seriously and be useful person in society, as well as touch the lives of other people in the future, Agunbiade stressed that education was the only asset that would take them out of criminality and other forms of negativity.

He further promised to reward students with 250 marks and above. "Let me assure you that if anyone of you score 250marks and above, he/she will get a laptop and N50,000, while 300marks and above will also get N100,000 with a laptop. All these and more are being funded from my personal purse, I urged you all to make use of the advantage," Agunbiade said to the candidates.
He enjoined them to emulate the life of the CEO, Homat Conglomerate, Alhaji Olawale Amusa, who has worked assiduously to become successful business man in Lagos State and Ikorodu Division in particular.
Responding to MegaXpression Media, Agunbiade said, engaging the youths and supporting their educational pursuit would make them inculcate good virtues in the society. "As a parent, when we educate these children, they would think on how to affect society positively," the Lawmaker opined.
Mainwhile, a beneficiary, Olasunbo Shodeinde, said it was a privilege, adding that it was coming at a financially difficult time for her parent. She commended Hon. Agunbiade and urged other beneficiaries to take advantage of the free CBT Training to enhance their performances in the forthcoming JAMB examination.
Speaking earlier, the Principal of Oriwu Senior Model College, Pastor Akeem Oladimeji, commended the practical representation of Hon. Agunbiade, urging the beneficiaries not to take the privilege for granted.
He said Agunbiade has being an element of progress in Ikorodu, and he has been the Sponsor behind 'Back to School', 'Youth Marathon', 'ASA Carnival', 'Annual Computer Programme', amongst others.
Also, the CEO of Homat Group of Companies, Alhaji Olawale Amusa, equally applauded Hon. Agunbiade, stating that it's only Agunbiade that'll collect JAMB forms for students and also give CBT Training. He therefore urged the beneficiaries to work hard in order to come out in flying colors, and also distance themselves from Yahoo and money rituals.
The former House Leader in the Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Azeez Jimoh Olosugbo, urged the beneficiaries in his remarks to remain determined and maintain focus in the forthcoming JAMB examination. He said the 'Onward Movement' will open a WhatsApp Group Platform for the 250 beneficiaries, to mornitor their admission proceedings.
