Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board, ITHMB, has released the sum of N1,000,000 (One million naira only), while Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group, IDRDG, added the sum of N400,000 (Four hundred thousand naira), to make it N1.4m, for the purchase of JAMB forms for over 200 indigenous senior secondary school students across Ikorodu Division.
Professor M.O. Ajetunmobi, the Scholarship and Training Committee Chairman of IDRDG, made this known to the Media Representatives, Shakiru Seidu and Kunle Adelabu, at the Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board, ITHMB Meeting, held on Saturday, noting that the organ is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the actualisation of this exercise.
The ITHMB Meeting which was presided over by the Board Chairman, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, said the Board has approved N1.4 million for the purchase of over 200 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms, which are aimed at securing the future of Ikorodu Division.
Ogunlewe said the purchase of the JAMB forms would enable the youths of Ikorodu Division to take total control of their future, and avoid leakages that had hitherto characterised the conduct of the present youths of our society.
The Committee has commenced the screening exercise to ensure that it's only the indigents Secondary School Students that benefits from the gesture, MegaXpression Media learnt.
