ADEBORUWA WORRIES OVER RISING ROBBERIES IN OLIWO AMOJU STREET IGBOGBO. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Quarries Onyabo, Others for negligence.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, has expressed worry over the incessant robberies in Oliwo Amoju Street Igbogbo, Lagos State, calling on government and security agencies to rise to combat the rising cases of insecurity, particularly robberies in some part of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

Addressing the affected victims at the Palace on Tuesday, Oba Kasali, who was ably represented at the meeting by Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, with other Palace Chiefs and Baales, expressed worry and displeasure over this ugly act, noting that a prompt action must be taken in no distance time.

Odofin quarried the Onyabo, which their head office is located on the same street, enjoining the Commander, Joint Task Force, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Agali Igbasan, to swing into action because same events were being reported from other communities, and also to investigate the sincerity of Onyabo in Oliwo Amoju Street Igbogbo.

Chief Odofin further appealed to the affected victims, urged them to corporate with the CDA and engage the services of security personnel on the street. "We want you to come back to Palace in two weeks' time and give us the outcome of your resolution with the CDA and Joint Task Force", Chief Tajudeen Onasanya stated.

Earlier, the Commander, Joint Task Force, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Agali Igbasan, said they were aware of the situation and the force will take decisive action to get the criminals, adding that parents should warn their children. "Our shops were being rubbed on weekly bases," one of the victims revealed.
