SENATE MAJORITY LEADER, DR. OPEYEMI BAMIDELE TO DELIVER LECTURE IN CELEBRATION OF COMRADE JAPHETH ODESANYA'S 50TH BIRTHDAY. ...As National, State political bigwigs listed for attendance.

All the roads will lead to Ikorodu on Friday October 25, 2024, as the former Secretary to Ikorodu Local Government, Comrade Japheth Abolade Akeem Odesanya (Japhetism), celebrates his golden jubilee with a lecture.

The Senate Majority Leader, Senator (Dr) Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, is the Distinguished Guest Speaker that will deliver a paper at the celebration which is themed: “Local Government Administration In Nigeria: Challenges, Perspective & Way Forward”. The event will hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu.

Former Head of Service (HoS) and former Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission , Basorun Babatunde Rotinwa, will deliver the keynote address.

Other eminent personalities expected to grace the occasion are His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor, Lagos State; Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, former Secretary to the Lagos State Government and chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), and Cardinal Prophet J.O. Odumbaku , GAC chieftain.

Senator Tokunbo Abiru, FCA, Senator representing Lagos East is the Distinguished Host/ Special Guest of Honour and Mr Fola Tinubu, MD/CEO Primero, will chair the occasion. Hon. Abike Dabiri – Erewa, Chairman/CEO NIDCOM and Her Excellency, Orelope Adejoke – Adefulire are Mothers of the Day.

The Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Shotobi, Adegorushen V, is the Royal father of the Host Royal Father, and also lead other royal fathers in Ikorodu Division, to the event.
