The Chairman, House Committee on Defence and Member, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, has again partnered Noella Foundation, a Non Governmental Organisation, and distributed Food Packs to hundreds of households across Ikorodu federal Constituency.

Speaking with MegaXpression Correspondence at the Musical Village Ikorodu, venue of the event, the DG iCARE Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwo-Ola, who represented Rep. Babajimi Benson, said the purpose is aimed at addressing food insecurity within the vulnerable communities.

"We have partnered Noella Foundation to bring more relief to the households in Ikorodu federal Constituency, and to ensure access to a staple food source during this challenging economic time," Sanwo-Ola stated.

"This initiative goes beyond just filling empty plates, because JB is determined to alleviate hunger and promote the well-being of his Constituents. His commitment is to build community resilience and supporting communities in times of need," Sanwo-Ola added.

Also, while responding to Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Media, Layal Tinubu, the Founder & Executive Director of Noella Foundation, said the NGO was meant to tackle key societal challenges that were not often spoken about through strategic partnerships and impactful initiatives.

According to her, the foundation aims to work with a dedicated network of partners to develop and execute impactful initiatives that address various challenges currently facing Nigerian society.

“Our mission at Noella Foundation is to transform the lives of vulnerable and marginalized women, children/young adults, and the elderly in specific communities and provide lasting solutions.

"Our strategy is to work closely with existing partners and experts in relevant fields to champion their causes and the amazing work that they have done to date. We are also looking to the future and working to keep the momentum going through innovative solutions,” she said.
