AGAIN, REP. BABAJIMI BENSON CUSHIONS HARDSHIP, DISTRIBUTES FOOD ITEMS TO CONSTITUENTS. | Shakiru Seidu.

The Chairman House Committee on Defence, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, has again repeated his monthly gesture by giving out another set of food items to over 500 vulnerable constituents across Ikorodu federal Constituency.

The October 2024 edition was equally held at his constituency office in Igbogbo, where beneficiaries were presented with these consumables.

The iCARE Foodbank is an initiative of this erudite Lawmaker’s iCare Foundation, that distributes, on monthly basis, food and grocery products to individuals and vulnerable families. These items are packaged in a bag called ‘Apo Aanu’.

According to the Lawmaker, “I am committed to improving the living of my constituents. This gesture will go a long way in improving on the standard of living of the people of my constituency. I want smiles and joy to always be on their faces.”

Benson, who was ably represented at this month's edition by the DG, iCARE Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, also reiterated their resolve to deliver more quality representation at the National Assembly, in the interest of the development of his constituents, hinting that more developmental projects are still in the offing for the people of Ikorodu federal constituency.
