It was end of an era on Friday, July 25, 2025, when the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini , commissioned multiple projects, facilitated by Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR , to mark his last day in office. Handing over the reconstructed Animashaun and Baganju Streets for use, Daini noted that the projects were in line with Rep. Babajimi Benson' s promise to the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to deliver dividends of democracy at the grassroots and make the impact of governance to be felt by all. Joining the Chairman at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were dignitaries, including political leaders, serving local government officials and CDA leaders. The Lagos State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu , is set to officially swear-in the newly elected Council Chairmen of the 20 Local Governments and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State on Sunday, 27th July, 2025. The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu  was on Sunday, July 20, 2025, commissioned a new Aafin Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, pointing out that the commissioning of the Palace would have a positive impact on the community’s unity. The Governor, who was ably represented by Hon. Kayode Robert, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, described the project as a significant milestone, achieved under the administration of Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini,  the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA.
