NULGE IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA BRANCH HOLDS VALEDICTORY/ THANKSGIVING SERVICE AHEAD OF HANDOVER OF BUILDER SESAN DAINI'S LED ADMINISTRATION. | Shakiru Seidu.


The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA branch, held a thanksgiving service on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, as part of the activities marking the end of the tenure of Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini's led Administration. 

The service was attended by staff of the LCDA and some invited guests, who came to celebrate the achievements and successes of the outgoing leadership. Also in attendance were families and friends of NULGE from near and far.

The event took place at the Council Secretariat, Igbogbo, Lagos. The Christian Cleric from CAN delivered a powerful sermon, while praising the virtue of the NULGE President, Comrade Taiwo Oduntan, and his collaborative efforts to ensure that the LCDA is peaceful and progressive. He also offered prayers for both the outgoing and incoming Executives.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, who will be handing over to Prince Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun on Saturday, 26th July, thanked all the local government staff for their cooperation and loyalty during his eight-year tenure. 

Daini highlighted some of the achievements of his administration. He also advised the incoming Administration to work together, and build on the legacy he has left behind. He expressed confidence that the new leadership would surpass his achievements and take NULGE Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to greater heights.

The erudite Chairman also thanked God for seeing him through the journey and appreciated his wife, families and the entire residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, for standing by him.

The thanksgiving service was a memorable and joyful occasion, as the staff sang, danced, and prayed for the outgoing executives. The branch also shown love through Award presentations to Chairman and other great individuals, to celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.

The Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is to commission a newly reconstructed Aafin Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom , by the Administration of the outgoing Chairman, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini.
