Bearly two weeks after one of the Chairmanship Aspirants in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Shakiru Moritan Seidu, SMS, empowered 50 Youth in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, through his 'Skill Up Igbogbo Program', the leading APC Aspirant again has repeated his annual gesture by sharing Rice and Garri to Elderly Citizens in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

The gesture, which held on Thursday February 6, 2025, under the elderly support Scheme of the IreOtun Foundation, had the theme, Total Wellness of Elderly Citizens in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. The food items were taken to selected beneficiaries at their various houses.

Speaking on the annual elderly support gesture, Seidu highlighted the importance of the initiative since year 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic. “This initiative is designed to support the welfare of our Elderly Citizens annually in my Community. I'm not just started, but since year 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

"In 2023, we even extended the gesture to 100 Single Parents and Vulnerable across our LCDA, in the presence of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, at the Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo.

Meanwhile, distribution of 1,000 Exercise Books to our Public Primary Schools, to commemorate my Birthdays have been a part of my lifestyle since 2014. These and more had no doubt placed us above other Chairmanship Aspirants in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA," Seidu opined while responding to the Newsmen.
