AIYETORO CRY OUT FOR HELP AS BABAJIMI BENSON VISITED THE COMMUNITY. | Shakiru Seidu. Paid unscheduled visit to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Secretariat.

No one could ever imagine that a community like Aiyetoro under Ijede LCDA could be subjected to untold hardship of lack of basic amenities. This community has not benefited from the dividend of democracy despite the dermination the Community often display during election in a bid to woo the interest of the elected officers who will ameliorate their suffering, this was the comment when one of the residents spoke with MegaXpression Magazine.

It was this plight that prompted the Ijede LCDA Chairman, Comrade Fatiu Salisu to solicit for the intervention of one of Lawmakers in the National Assembly, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Babajimi Benson to attend to their challenges.

Comrade Fatiu appealed to residents to have faith in the present administration and that the problem of no water, no public toilet will surely be attended to.

Hon Babajimi Benson in his usual way of magnanimity, appealed to the residents of the community and assured them of reasons to laugh again.

JB was accompanied by two of his Aides, Deen Sawoola and Mr Bayo Oteju, was resolute on bringing life back into the community as he assured of the provision of drinkable water, construction of public toilet and a host of other means of livelihood.

On his way back, the Lawmaker paid unscheduled visit to Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Comrade Olusesan Daini who warmly welcome Hon Babajimi Benson and his iCARE Team.

The Chairman appreciated the visit and hoped that the honourable will fulfill all his promises made.  In the course of his visit, they delibrated on the challenges and threat the Coastal Areas are inflcting pains on the residents. They therefore agreed on what to do on the Waterways.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
