MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT GAVE A COURTESY VISIT TO IGBOGBO/BAIYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu. Our Environment, Our Pride. -Daini.

The Lagos State Ministry of Environment in conjunction with Fan Milk along with students in different Local government in Lagos State visited the Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini, on Monday, 25th of September, 2017.

The programme started with an opening speech by the representative form the Ministry of Environment, Mrs Raji as she recognised the presence of the Chairman, Students and Sponsors. She introduced the second edition of the Eko Tourism programme, the edition that is tagged "Effect of Climate change in wetland and it's aimed at teaching students to be aware of their environment and the changes happening around them and also to get to parents through these children.

The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini appreciated and recognised the presence of the Lagos State representatives, Sponsors, Media team and the head of Administration.

He recounted his dream of a friendly environment and his special interest in climate change and the Environment as a whole. Daini also encouraged the students in their interest in climate change and urged them to teach others about the environment and changes happening around them.

Also present was the head of Administration who welcomed the "Environment family" and appreciated the coordinator for her interest in children.
She therefore urged the Students to make use of this opportunity and be good role models to others by taking care of their environment and teaching people around them about ways to make the environment a safe place for all.

Former Minister and GAC member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe , has denied reports claiming he endorsed Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo for a second term bid to represent Ikorodu Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
