SEN. OLUREMI TINUBU AT 57: CONFERENCE 57 VISITS BETHESDA HOME, CELEBRATES WITH THE VISION IMPAIRED. | Shakiru Seidu

It was a remarkable moment yesterday 21st of September, 2017 when the Lagos State Local Government Chairmen under the umbrella of Conference 57 visits the Agege Motor Rd. Besthesda Home to mark the 57th Birthday Anniversary of the wife of the All Progressives Congress APC National Leader, and the current Senator representing Lagos Central in the Nigeria Senate, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu OON with the vision impaired

The Conference Chairman,  Hon. Mrs. Lola Essien, who is the  Executive Chairman of mainland local government, while speaking on the celebrant, described Sen. Oluremi Tinubu has a true symbol of democracy,

Our mummy is a gift to this Nation,  she is a big pride and a big asset to the progressive folds,  her contributions on the nation development is something to reckon with.
She is a true mother,  leader and a teacher.

She had played in Lagos state as the former first lady  with different giant strides to her record  coupled with  qualitative and quantitative representation she is giving to the people of Lagos Central Senatorial district with numerous achievements which are audible to the deaf and visual to the blind. Essien said.

She explained further that ,they choose Besthesda Home to felicitates with the wife of their Mentor and National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because of her passion for the less privilege and her belief that in every disability there is always an ability..

In the same vein, the conference Secretary, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyo described the former first Lady as a worth celebrating Political enigma, whose passion for humanity have no bounds, who in the same way have been a source of inspiration to many of them in Government at the grassroot level on how to better the lives of the less privilege.

Numerous items that would enhance the well-being of these students were  donated while in appreciation , the leader of the students in person of Mr Anderson Fidelix  a student of  University of Azikiwe 300level Political science appreciated the celebrant for her numerous support to them which have been source of inspiration that out of sight is not out of vision.

He stated that twenty-three  of them are under full scholarship of senator Oluremi Tinubu at the higher institutions and he prayed that the Lord in His infinite Mercies and favour will continually to uphold her and her vision for better Nigeria will become a reality.

The Chairmen was later taken round for facility inspection and craft produced by the students.

Guest were entertained by the students with cultural dance and good tune of live band music with special birthday music for the celebrant Senator Remi Tinubu.
