On Thursday, 14th of September, 2017, all the APC Chairmen in Ikorodu Division continued their visitations to APC leaders in Ikorodu division, this time around, it was the turn of the Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini. This was in a bid to further postulate strategies to strengthen the Party and Ikorodu Division to become one indivisible region which will enhance rapid growth and development.

The Chairmen led by Pastor Falohun from Ijede appreciated Daini for consistently advancing the course of putting APC in Ikorodu Division at a vantage position. They unanimously saluted his courage as he is up and doing as the Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. However, they appealed to him to endeavour to always put the interest of the Party and Division at heart.

In response to the august visit, Daini thanked the Chairmen and promised to do his best in promoting the productive interest of the Party. He therefore enjoined them to remain focused in moving the Party forward. He said, "I am ever ready to lend my hand of support to you whenever necessary".

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
