LG PARTY CHAIRMEN IN IKORODU DIVISION PALLY WITH ADEBIMPE AKINSOLA. | Shakiru Seidu. The transformation of Ikorodu Division is sacrosanct and there is no going back, Akinsola assured.

The APC Chairmen of Ikorodu local Govt, Igbogbo/Baiyeku, Ikorodu West, Ikorodu North, Imota and Ijede LCDAs were on Saturday, 9th of September, 2017, embraced the Special Adviser and Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola. This is in a bid to synergize and entrench cordial relation among the Six Local Councils in Ikorodu Division.

However, the Party Chairmen advocated for constant meeting with the Hon. Akinsola so as to ascertain the good works the Governor is doing even to the grassroots. The meeting was also used by the Party Chieftains to express their intentions in joining the A+ DISCIPLES.

In another separate meeting, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola also met with all the 5 Chairmen of the 5 Wards in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA to equally deliberate on the progress of the LCDA to afford the people the opportunity to feel the positive agenda of APC led government in Lagos State.

The Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini, who was part of the two meetings, appreciated Hon Akinsola and urged the Party Chairmen to remain indivisible and thanked them for their relentless efforts in the local government election that brought them to power.

Hon Akinsola in her eloquent response at the two meetings, affirmed that the transformation of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Ikorodu division is sacrosanct and there is no going back. She therefore charged all the Party Chairmen to endeavour to promote the growth and development works that Gov. Ambode and the current administration of Igbogbo/Baiyeku and other Councils in Ikorodu division are set to unfold for the well being of all and sundry.

The two meetings were brought to an end one after the other with the aim of having it periodically.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
