GOOD NEWS AWAITS IKORODU DIVISION, AS FG URGES THE PROCUREMENT PROCESS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF IKORODU/SHAGAMU ROAD, BE FAST TRACKED. The rehabilitation of the said road will be duly awarded in due course, Babajimi Benson assured.

The confirmation of a responsible Legislator is to lobby and nurture his dream on his people to reality. This was no doubt proven by Hon. Babajimi Benson, member, House of Reps, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, who has been on the neck of the federal Ministry of Works, on the deplorable state of Ikorodu/Shagamu road which had infringed pains on the residents.

Benson confirmed this in a statement released on Wednesday, 8th of November, 2017. He said, In the light of the state of the Ikorodu-Shagamu Road, I requested for an update from the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, and in acknowledging the letter, the ministry on behalf of the Honourable Minister stated that;

The Ministry has already carried out a comprehensive design of the Ikorodu-Shagamu Road and the process for the procurement of the road is in progress.

That the Honourable Minister has directed that the procurement process for the award of the contract for the rehabilitation of Ikorodu-Shagamu  road be fast tracked.

JB, as he's usually called, therefore assured that the rehabilitation of Ikorodu -Shagamu road will be duly awarded in due course.
