COUNCIL BOSS HOLDS A HISTORIC INTERACTIVE SESSION BETWEEN POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS AND MANAGEMENT STAFF. | Shakiru Seidu.   It's gears toward actualizing our vision and mission in line with the 4years developmental plan of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Daini explained.

According to the Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini when speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, he said the meeting themed "Actualizing vision and mission in line with the 4years developmental plan of the LCDA" was geared towards operating an all inclusive government, also presentation of the proposed building for the Secretariat and presentation of Igbogbo Baiyeku developmental plan in line with Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDG).

The Council Engineer gave an extensive analysis on the plan of the proposed Ultra Modern Complex which will house a multipurpose Hall, a Registry and 14 Offices on the ground floor and 25 offices on the first floor.

This drew a lot of comments and suggestions from heads of departments and political office holders present. The Council Treasurer expressed his satisfaction with the project, stated that the duration matters a lot and should not be elongated. He also stressed the mode of financing the project citing self savings and partnership as different means of finance, he also cited intensifying internally generated revenue.

The Chairman, Comrade Daini, in response to this, said it is a collective responsibility and promises to look into the options as proposed by the Council Treasurer. Councillor Matthew Arowolo from Ward C4, commended the engineer, said the design will project the L.G positively.

He therefore Pledged the legislative support to the LCDA. He enjoined the Chairman to allocate office space to the legislature and employ direct labor in carrying out the project.

The Head if Administrative, Mrs. Usman Folashade in her comment, eloquently said the essence of the meeting was to carry everyone along, says it has taken a lot of sacrifice to save up to 10 million in preparation for the project. She enjoined others to support the project and guide their spending.

This session of the meeting was followed by the presentation of the vision of the L.C.D.A in achieving developmental growth by Dr. Oluwole Daini from Abuja, who spoke on Comprehensive Strategic and Integrated Development Plan on the Sustainable Development Goals for Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.

SDG otherwise known as Global goals are a set of 17 goals; a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that people enjoy peace and prosperity.

He said reasons for this is to ensure holistic integrated and comprehensive development in all aspect of human development for the residents of Igbogbo/ Baiyeku L.C.D.A.

Dr. Oluwole donated his book on how to tap into the benefit of SDG to use internally and sell to other LG's and developing countries. He also spoke on how to get international funding and foreign aids to speed up development in the community. He entertained questions from those present and justice were done accordingly.

The meeting came to an end with vote of thanks by the Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Titilayo Adegboyega who appreciated Dr. Oluwole and closing prayer by Councillor Wasiu Olowu from Ward C2.
