IGBOGBO AGOG AS THE COMMUNITY KICK STARTS ITS IGBOGBO DAY CELEBRATION. | Shakiru Seidu. It's a celebration of new beginning in Igbogbo kingdom, Engr. Kalejaiye revealed.

Friday, 17th of November, 2017, the Igbogbo township witnessed a large turnout in celebration of the 1st Igbogbo Day festival after the installation of His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of IGBOGBO ascended the throne of his forefathers.

The sons and daughters gathered at Adeboruwa Palace earlier in the morning to kick start the celebration with Iwure, the traditional prayer, after which the Child Abuse Campaign took turn round the community and also promoting the cultural heritage of the kingdom.

The youths of Igbogbo and Students from various Schools took part in the campaign against Child abuse. HRM Oba Kasali, Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini, Adeboruwa-in-Council, others, commenced the campaign against Child Abuse from Igbe junction and was taken round the community before ending it at Adeboruwa Palace, where Students were sensitized on moral behavior and avoidance of rape in the society.

When speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo acquainted the students to remain resolute and guide against rape.
