ONE LAGOS FIESTA: HON. AKINSOLA LEADS TEAM TO INSPECT VENUES. | Shakiru Seidu. This year's event will be an unforgettable moment of entertainment and celebration, Hon. Akinsola assured.

On Sunday 19th of November 2017, Ag. Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Mrs. Adebimpe Akinsola led a team of Permanent Secretaries, Directors from Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and some experts to visit the venues for this year's One Lagos Fiesta which promises to out class the event of the previous year.

Affirmatively, three venues were visited on this day and they are: Eko Atlantic City at Victoria Island, Epe Marina at Epe and Ikorodu Government College/Cherubim and Seraphim primary School at Idiroko, Ikorodu.

When speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, Hon Akinsola said this year's event will be an unforgettable moment of entertainment and celebration as team of experts are equally involve to synergize in order to unify the people of Lagos State with just one thing which is One Lagos Fiesta that will foster unity, peace and progress in Lagos State.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA. He succeeds the late Fadilat Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdulahi Andu (Tanimose) who died on the 2nd of June, 2025. Gazali , before his installation, was the Chief Imam Araromi Mosque , Itun-Abosan. He is from Amoju branch of Lantan Onanusi Family, Igbogbo, and was graduated from different Arabic and Islamic Colleges. Abdulganiu was turbaned on Tuesday by the Ulamas in the Central Mosque, Igbogbo.
