APC VOLUNTEERS APPOINT FATAI OLUKOGA AS MEMBER OF ELDERS’ ADVISORY COUNCIL. | Shakiru Seidu. "Let's walk for the progress of our Party and eschew money politics," Otunba Fatai Olukoga appeals to the Party faithfuls.
It was another political rank for Otunba (Dr.) Fatai Olukoga, on Monday, 24th of April, 2018, when the leadership of APC Volunteers, Lagos State, visited the Party Chieftain at his office in Ikorodu, to appoint him as member of Elders’ Advisory Council of the Group. Otunba Olukoga, who's a retired Permanent Secretary and former Special Adviser to the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babatunde Fashola, received the appointment letter with joy.
According to the State Coordinator, Otunba Adewale Adeyemi, as gathered by MegaXpression Magazine, he said the Group is aimed at focuses on complementing the All Progressives Party, APC, to deliver on her campaign promises. "We add value through our grassroot mobilization for party activities and election victories, grassroot empowerment, community service (via Sanitation, People reorientation, Neighbourhood Watch, etc) and our extensive publicity and defence of our APC government developmental and infrastructural projects. All these are done with total obedience to and reliance on the party’s constitution". He explained.
Otunba Adeyemi further revealed that the members were spread with strong presence across all the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs here in Lagos State and indeed throughout the 36 States of the federation properly and formidably structured as South West, South East, South South, North East, North Central and North West.
The leaders therefore thanked Otunba Fatai Olukoga for accepting to serve in the Elders' Advisory Council. "We look forward to benefitting from your wealth of experience, Elder’s counsel and connections to further help us to deliver on our core objectives in consonance with the directions and focus of our great party." Adeola Adegbite said. April 27th was announced to inaugurate the Elders Advisory Council at the Party Secretariat, ACME, Ikeja.
In his eloquent remarks, Otunba Fatai Olukoga thanked the leadership of APC Volunteers for their assiduous contributions in projecting APC positively. After highlighted some of his achievements as Special Adviser to the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babatunde Fashola, Otunba Olukoga urged Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to uphold the system he met and enhance where necessary. Olukoga also frown at those moving from one Party to another or those members playing double game. He therefore urged the Party faithfuls to eschew money politics.
Members of APC Volunteers Advisory Council include Dr. Akinsanya Ajose, GAC member, Alhaji Akanni Seriki, (Bamu), GAC member, Alhaji Hassan Ajeigbe, M. A. Majekodunmi (Iya Oyo), Chief Imran Taiwo, Chief Bola Daodu, Chief Olubamise Bakare, Alhaji Anifowose Dengel, Hon. Kolawole Taiwo, Dr. Akin Aina, Chief Akintunde Ambode, Hon Daniel Atra, Alhaji Ganiu Badmus and Otunba Fatai Olukoga.
Among the leadership of the Group that visited Otunba Olukoga include Otunba Adewale Adeyemi, State Coordinator, Alhaja Folashade Adebayo, Deputy State Woman Leader, Prince Aroyewun Oyetoro, Secretary, Olori Tokunbo Backry, East Senatorial leader, and Adeola Adegbite, Director of internal Affairs.
