BANIRE, SHASORE, GBADAMOSHI, JOIN GOVERNORSHIP RACE, SET TO BATTLE AMBODE IN 2019. | Shakiru Seidu.

Few months to the 2019 general election, the race leading to Alausa’s top job has continued to receive boost with the entrance of top political weights across political parties ahead of Lagos 2019 Governorship election.

MegaXpression Magazine gathered that all is set for the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mr Muiz Banire (SAN) and Mr Supo Shashore to formally launch their governorship campaign to battle the incumbent governor Ambode which they consider as not fit to continue ruling the State over his many political errors. To opposing faction in APC, Ambode is considered to be a stooge being used by a certain political power bloc to milk Lagos dry, which they are reportedly ready to fight till stand still in 2019.

Our correspondent also gathered that the Ikorodu born politician, and real estate guru, Mr Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (BOG) who was one of the aspirants alongside Mr Jimi Agbaje and Senator Obanikoro under the platform of PDP during the 2015 election is also set to stage a massive roll out of his campaign, this time under a relatively new but a formidable National political Platform, Action Democratic Party (ADP).

Mr Muize Banire according to a source said that he is ready to match the governor and his sponsors naira for naira within APC, that he is ready to spend heavily to prosecute the 2019 election, he has reportedly vowed that he will never allow Imposition of candidate which seems to be the tradition of his party APC by a known political figure in the state, that the governor must also stand for primaries just like other aspirants, affirming that being the governor of the state does not mean an automatic ticket for him. He said, if the same set of leaders who love to impose candidates in Lagos can be asking for Primary election for Presidency, same should be applicable to Lagos.

MegaXpression Magazine can also report that there seems to be a crack within Lagos APC which may soon become open to all as different factions are already scheming to take over the control of the party. For instance, in Lagos West, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro who recently defected to APC and the a serving Senator, Solomon Adeola are putting up a serious fight with so many other similar cases across the party in the State.
