BENSON, AGUNBIADE, SHOLAJA, PARTY LEADERS, OTHERS, COMMISERATE WITH AJIBODU FAMILY OF IKORODU. | Shakiru Seidu.

Hon Babajimi Benson, Member, House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon SOB Agunbiade, Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, APC leaders and members of TMG Ikorodu Division, led by Chief Adenrele Olowu, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Primate Charles Odugbesi, Alhaji Ade Ajala, Hon Gbenga Basanya, Hon Jide Banjoko, Alhaji Taiwo Longe, Alhaji R.I. Jinodu, among others were today, Saturday, 7th of April, 2018, commiserated with the family of Ajibodu, on the sudden exit of Late Alhaji Shafari Oriyomi Ajibodu, who has served meritoriously for their Party.

While speaking with Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression, Hon. Babajimi Benson sympathised with the wife, children, leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress in Ikorodu Division over the incident. He described the late Shafari Oriyomi Ajibodu as a humble and vibrant APC leader.

Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, former Commissioner for Agric, Lagos State, also extended heartfelt condolence to the people of Ikorodu Division, to whom he said the late leader served creditably for many years.

Hon SOB Agunbiade, Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, prayed deeply for Allah to comfort the wife, children and all those mourning the late Oriyomi Ajibodu and grant his soul eternal rest.

The remain of the 72 years old gentleman was buried according to the Muslim rite at his Oke-Oriya residence in Ikorodu. While details of the final burial was said to be communicated soon.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
