IGBOGBO STUDENTS' UNION PALLIES WITH MEGAXPRESSION MAGAZINE. | Shakiru Seidu. "I'll do my best to project the Union's activities," Shakiru Seidu assures the Students.

Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of MegaXpression Magazine, Mr Shakiru Seidu, was on Sunday, 29th of April, 2018, gave a surprise visit to Igbogbo Students' Union, ISU, at their monthly General Assembly. Mr Seidu who was at the Adeboruwa Palace to see the Mornach, took the advantage to attend their Congress, holding at the Pavilion of Oba Johnson Fatola.

While addressing the leadership of the ISU, Shakiru Seidu said, "It is my singular honor and privilege to team up with the future of our community. It's gladden my heart to note that the youths of Igbogbo are now reawakening their mindset to participate actively in the developmental process of our dear town."

Shakiru also considered it necessary to encourage the youths of Igbogbo to sustain the current level of developmental consciousness and ensure that Igbogbo is rekindle by being projected positively. "Igbogbo belongs to all of us," he added.

Miss Comfort Olafare, the first female President of ISU thanked the Publisher of MegaXpression Magazine, for his contributions and assiduous determination to move Igbogbo forward. She enjoined him not to relent and sued for collaboration between MegaXpression Magazine and Igbogbo Students' Union. The immediate past President, Ridwan Ogunsowo and other students in attendance were also very excited to receive the founder of the first community media in Igbogbo.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
