Prince Ajibade Ismail Nosiru Ayeni has been confirmed as the 'Eletu Odibo' (Traditional Prime Minister) of Lagos. This follows the unanimous acceptance of the Oshobile Ruling House of Eletu Odibo Chieftaincy Family of Lagos, on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the Iga Eletu Odibo, located at No 51, Ashogbon Street, Isale Eko, Lagos. He is to succeed the late Chief Tajudeen Gbadesere Agboola Eletu, whose demise occured in March 2017.
The 'Omo Oye' Selection Committee made the presentation of Prince Ajibade Ayeni to the Olori Ebi, Alhaji Rafiu Saka, and all other family members of the Oshobile Ruling House, before he was overwhelmingly confirmed and taken to 'Oju Egun' deity for spiritual prayer.
Omo'ba Ayeni popularly known as 'Omobalufon' in Lagos Island politics, is an Engineer by profession and an aide to HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom.
He graduated from the Lagos State University (LASU) in the Department of Electronics/Computer Engineering with a Second Class Upper Division in 2003.
He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Mobile Computing & Communications from the University of Greenwich, UK and a Master of Business Administrstion, MBA in Corporate Government & Strategic Management at the National Open University, Nigeria.
Omo'ba Ayeni worked with Access Bank Plc as a Relationship Officer in the Institutional Banking Group and resigned as an Assistant Banking Officer in 2008 before he proceeded to the United Kingdom for his Master’s Degree.
Prince Ajibade Ayeni is a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional and a Project Management Certified. He is also a professional member of the British Computer Society and Association of Information Technology Professionals. He is equally a grassroot Politician.
