ADEBIMPE AKINSOLA HOSTS MEN, WOMEN AND YOUTH PROVIDENCE OF U.A.M.C. CATHEDRAL IGBOGBO, IN A WARM RECEPTION, AS THE GROUPS CELEBRATE 2018 ANNIVERSARIES. | Shakiru Seidu.

Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture and members of the 7th Assembly, Lagos State, was on Sunday, 27th of May, 2018, hosted the 49th, 45th and 11th anniversaries thanksgiving reception of Men, Women and Youth Providence of United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Cathedral, Igbogbo, in her house at Igbogbo.

After the thanksgiving Service and robust sermon offered by The Very Revd. Toyi Moses of United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Cathedral, all roads were led to Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola's Villa at Akin Ogunlewe Street in Igbogbo, Lagos State, where eating and drinking were observed to the fullest with melodious music.

The Very Revd. Toyi Moses, Chief B. Okusanya, Baba Ijo, Hon. Titilola Adegboyega, Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr and Mrs Ademua, 'Egbe Kokoro' men and women, Members of United Sisters International, Members of Ikorodu Women of Substance, Elder Omolade Oduniyi, Elder Olalekan Faniyi, Shakiru Seidu, Publisher of MegaXpression Magazine, Members of Hon. Akinsola's family from far and near, and other eminent personalities were all present at the reception to round off the celebrations.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
