APC RELEASES LIST OF WARD CONGRESS IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu

The results of the Ward Congress of All Progressives Congress, APC held in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA have been released. While still waiting for other local government results in Ikorodu, the Congress Committee Chairman released the results of the 5 Wards of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA at the Party’s State Secretariat in ACME, Ikeja.

According to one of the Party faithfuls in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, he appealed to the new executives to work assiduously to take the party to its goals. “I strongly appeal to all our leaders and members to put the collective interest of our people beyond self. Progressive party politics is about the people," he said.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
