One of the traditional festivals, celebrating annually in Ikorodu Township, 'Oro Magbo festival' has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 8th of May, 2018, from morning till night in Ikorodu township. MegaXpression Magazine, confirmed this through a letter from His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayagburen of Ikorodu Kingdom.
The Mornach affirmed the date and urged the females to stay indoor throughout the said date. "In accordance with the ORO Tradition, all females are forbidden to step outside or move around," he warned.
Females from the neighbouring communities are therefore enjoined to keep-off of Ikorodu township on the said date and find alternative routes to their various destinations, as the traditional festival last for one day.
